A Metro Parks and Recreation-led initiative for a countywide parks and greenways master plan in Nashville and Davidson County. The master plan serves as a guide for departmental spending, programs and initiatives over the next decade and to shape Nashville’s park system during what is an era of significant growth and change in the city. The yearlong Plan to Play process included an inventory of past and current plans, an analysis of programs and facility offerings, a benchmarking of peer cities, and an intensive public input process including public meetings and surveys.
