Ryan Johnson
Principal of Pillars Development + Investment

 

Ryan Johnson is a native Nashvillian and is based in Philadelphia.  He started his career with Bristol Development Group where he worked on pioneering urban infill projects in Nashville’s core, most notable being the Icon and Velocity in the Gulch, Bristol West End, and Music City Center. He later joined Edgemoor, a public-private partnership development firm in Washington, DC and then launched his own boutique real estate consulting firm, Page Development. His work spans across university expansions, transit projects, municipal facilities, medical facilities projects, and supporting young developers analyze potential project- just to name a few. Prior to joining Pillars, Ryan led the redevelopment of Amtrak’s 3rd largest station in downtown Philadelphia, 30th Street Station.

 

Ryan graduated with his bachelor’s in real estate from the University of Pennsylvania and his master’s in real estate and infrastructure development from John Hopkins University. In his free time, he enjoys reading history, cheering on the Phillies, traveling, and spending time with his family- his wife Megan and daughter Juliet.

 

Ryan will be serving as Principal of the Pillars Development + Investment entity. His role will primarily focus on the Catalyst Fund, financial management for our larger scale projects, and promoting development opportunities for Pillars. As we grow, Ryan will manage the Development Services team.
